Only treatment I can think of... is send to to "never never" land and let it hang around with little goldfish... probably wont make it look any better... but it should feel better...

and no... it's not normal.... tell it to knock off the plastic surgery...

maybe it has a condition that destroys the pigmentation of its skin.......errrrr.....scales......... ;)

side note, but i think goldies might really respond to light quality. i have a heap in my aquarium with WAY old lights, and 6 of the same batch that i put in the AP. the AP ones are the deepest orange youve seen, the aquarium ones are a drab pale orange

Yes some goldfish change colour as they get older. I have watched my little ones go from silver to black to black/gold and eventually all gold. Sometimes this takes only a month sometimes it takes 6 months. I think it is related to their feeding. My oldest female is still all silver after about 3 years so maybe only males change???

Use to know a few old hippies from years ago... they spent most of their time under way out lights.... and ended up looking pretty drab and orange....

Anyone seen the krishnas lately??
