Hi All,

I figured out that my fish were dying due to lack of Dissolved Oxygen. So I installed 2 new Air pumps. I see that both my power filter too have a venturi air line connected which creates some bubbles in water.

So what do you recommend? Which is better for aeration? An Air pump (200 litres/hour) or A powerhead with venturi pipe connected (500 litres/hour)

Regards

..
Venturi works great, and aids in getting the water moving..
BUT - I would have an air-pump ready to be activated , as power heads have a lower reliability..

I am using a Venturi-Filter device in a round "Trout" aquarium..
Lots of bubbles and the trout seem to like all the movement..
