I'm not sure if the poster is still here, it's an old thread.

But I'm surprised nobody mentioned overstocking. There was 130 tilapia in 700L(?) IBC chop with one gb. It was all going well until he added the extra 80 fish. I'm wondering how large the fry were.

I know tilapia are quite hardy, and you can stock heavier, but I'd imagine even they'd have their limits

Most of the first batch of fish had died before he added the second batch, according to the initial post, so all wasn't going well and this suggested it wasn't overstocking, which is probably why no one suggested it. Still worth mentioning :thumbright:
