Hello do you know how long Ichthyo lives on cold water at the fish ?
When you salted to 5-6ppt and water is only 10-12°C at which day flashing should stop ?
At warm water they lost the parasites after 24h, but no experience with cold water...

It takes a lot longer to deal with at colder temps- plenty of info online if you do a search.

Thanks for your response and your link.
But i don't found any length of time for special temperatures.
Only the information that 7°C need 6 week for one cycle.

When you have 5ppt, and fish would looks normal after 4 weeks, do you reduce the saltinity to 3ppt ?
We already learn that a water change too soon will react the itch and kill all of your fish :-(

Hello board,
added much salt to raise to 5ppt saltinity ten days ago.
Fish are eating but still with white spots.
Water is 10-13ºc warm/cold.
Do you think they will need only time or not enough ?
