I reckon if you have anything in your fish tank other than fish, pump and may be a plant or 2 like water cress you are asking for trouble. If it was me I would take the time and effort to move those legs from the tank because there in no guarantee that brick, pavers or what ever are fish safe.

Add salt to the system to treat the fish..
