Back in perth now after a week away and have just been looking at the fish... 1 Trout has an eye problem... tried to take pics but it just wont hold still... anyway,
It looks opaque and puffed up a bit, but very white, like scarring almost

To be honest it could have been like it for a while, i am away all week and back for a day and a half then off again, so it could have been like it for around 5 weeks by now i supose...

It still swims fine, i was thinking maybe it got into a scrap with another fish or, bumped into something... not really sure..

anyone??

cheers
Steve

Did you buy said trout from GP's, per chance?

I got my last batch from them a few months back, including a couple minus-eye/s and some kinda bulbous head mutations. I just wrote it off to too shallow of a gene pool (literally n figuratively!)

My guess is that the fish has gone blind which can be what happen when the water warms up.

If it is bumping into the side of the tank, it is time to harvest! IMHO :)
