Post subject:  Earth worms and BSF compatible???

I had a happy accident...I think. Wanted some earth worms(red wigglers i think) from my worm bin for fishing. Digging through i found hundreds of BSF. Are they compatible in the same bin. Seems like i have more in the dirt than in my home made bio pod. I know the fish in the AP system love the BSF but the wild bream here in Botswana sure prefered the red wigglers. I'm happy to have more BSF i just don't want them to take over my supply of fishing bait. Any thoughts??? :dontknow:
Thanks

If it's not broken don't fix it.

The one thing i like is that they will deffinatly pupate in the worm bin so there will be plenty of flies for then next generations. Just don't want to loose the bait i use for non Aquaponics fishing.

They'll be fine together MM.

Over here at least it's very common to find them together - never had a problem with it yet.

Looks like the start of some immature BSF larvae. they will turn brown when they are ready to harvest.
