Friday and Saturday the outside temp here was below zero, my trout are not as hungry as they had been earlier in the week. I wonder if it is to do with what weather is coming eg barometric pressure or the full moon! I am keeping a close eye on them.

Well the trouts in my tank starting "bubbling" at the surface when they see me walk near... so they are definitely eager to eat... was pretty cold this morning too... You did not say whether you had the trouts for a while or just a day or two ago... new trouts tend to take a few days to get use to the new environment... If you had them for a while, I would do some water tests... Trouts rarely reject food... check whether there is any uneaten food at the bottom of the tank... |
