Are you human?: at least half
Location: fresno california
I have to admit that I did something nasty today. I was at my brothers and he said that he went out a few months ago and found his compost bucket writhing with big white maggots. He said that he was disgusted and put the lid on the bucket. This effectively sealed in the maggots. He said that he had gone out a few times to check on the bucket and it was still writhing and stunk something terrible. I asked if I could have a look and sure enough he had a 3.5 gallon bucket half full of very nasty gray goo and BSF larva. I have been trying to start a BSF bin for months now and here my brother has had a bucket full all along. I sincerely hope that no person has ever been so excited to have a bucket full of giant maggots in rotten gray goo. I just couldn't help my self I had to bring the bucket of nasty home. Much to my wife's chagrin. I took it out back and poked some holes in the bottom and buried it up to the lid to try and dry out the nasty insides but I dont think it is going to work. I think that I will have to scoop out the remaining live larva and transfer them to my new bin, and that will be really nasty :puke:
