has anyone heard of using leucaena as a food for fish. It is a nitrogen fixing fooder for cattle with a very high protien percentage eqal to lucerne? It grows in hot climates and requires little water.
cheers

we've got heaps of it growing around here (more weeds) but I haven't tried it with the fish yet. I might try it one day with some in the purging tank?

I know the chooks will eat the leaves, and the branches make good perches.

Not used for fish food as far as I know,.....,,,also be VERY aware , if you are going to use it for cattle , they need to have a dose of a certain compound ( bacteria) OR the Luceana is poisonous.
Growing on my Thai farm ,, beside ,, beside ,, ahhh UMM YEP the Moringa.
