i have been raising silver perch for twelve years. I have decided to change to barra. can i supplement their feed with roadkill, feral cats etc?

Bump, no really sure, I'm guessing the barra would make good dim sims when you harvest. I'd even consider the neighbours cat to save on transport :headbang:

I’ll happily provide my ex’s cat if the fish are hungry.

25% of world fisheries bi catch is used for pet food, i just want to address that imbalance. my town is plagued by cats i am just uncertain if i could use them as fodder, not in the legal sense but in a nutritional context.

I think it is worth a try. I personnally would like to know it is recent road kill, your nose and eyes would solve that, then meat grinder. I'd give it a crack but i swim in my fish tank.

Not sure. Too cold over winter for barra where i'm at. So i stick with silvers and yellowbelly. Want to try tandus, but worried about their posionious spines.
