I have been substituting my tilapia fish feed with some Fish pellets. However there has been a recent Drug store beetle infestation in the Fish Pellets. Is Drug Store Beetle, its larvae safe for tilapia's consumption ?. i assume beetles and insects are also source of protein for tilapia. I am more worried about their urine, feces, and larvae. |

I would go get new, fresh pellets just to be safe, but I couldn't find any info on toxins in the beetles, so It's your choice I guess. Maybe try feeding only one fish and see how the fish reacts. |

I'm not an expert so don't blame me if a fish dies...

yea it will all be fine. just watch out for webbing (if they make it), the fish wont like it so much, but probably wont hurt them in small amounts. |
