I am in the Eastern USA and have about 20 wild fish in my system from 4 different varieties of native sunfish. They are eating well as long as I can feed them worms and insects that I have captured but I can't seem to get them to take the commercial pellet feed. Sometimes they will nibble it and spit it out, but usually they'll just watch it but never take it and it ends up rotting. I love the idea of only feeding them wild food sources but I just don't think I have the energy to constantly have to find worms, crickets, roly ploys, etc for them. Anyone have any insight into getting wild fish to take commercial feed reliably?

The feed I have is Sportsman's Choice Floating Catfish Food 40 lb. Bag 960-R4

The sunfish varieties I have in my AP system are: bluegill, long ear sunfish, warmouth sunfish and red eyed rock bass
