I've been feeding my Tilapia lots of tomato leaves all summer long. I haven't had a single fish die on me. they strip all the leaves and I pick up the remaining stems when they are done. Is this ok for them?

Thank you,
Jason

Uhm according to a quick Internet search, apparently, it is OK.

I'll still pass. I don't even like the smell of the leaves.

Thank you Vida, my search pulled up a lot of conflicting information and none of it talked about the affects on fish. I was looking for someone who had more of a practical experience with this. I might be the first, so I'll post my findings after my first year.

My first response based on the old idea that the leaves were toxic to people was that even if it was OK for the fish, it might make the fish NOT OK for people, but then I did the search.

If it's OK for people, and you are seeing that it's not killing your fish, then it sounds like it's all OK. Yes, you might be the first, at least the first to post anything about it. Congratulations for being a ground-breaker!
