I'm ordering some duckweed international and im hoping to get it by Friday but im worried it will miss the flight Friday and get stuck in Miami until Monday or even Tuesday. I'm pretty sure live duckweed will die if left in a plastic bag for a whole week. Does anyone know of the survival of duckweed during shipping?

It should be OK, I'd be more worried about it coming through customs and quarantine giving it a spray :upset:

lol thanks. Well i doubt they would spray something outgoing, they are usually only concerned with incoming. And once it gets here in the islands then it passes straight through.

If it dies email me and pay postage and I will send you some at no charge.

i mail ordered some through amazon. took 2 weeks to to get to my house, probably because of the holidays. some died, but i have been able to grow the 70% that was still alive.

now a healthy population.
