This is crazy. If you have a chance, check the weather for Cape Coral, Florida for the past 2 days and you will see that we have gotten an insane amount of rain.
All of that moisture has caused a serious crawl off of fly maggots, (still a problem), as well as mature BSF grubs. They are everywhere. They climb straight up and out, get on top of the bin and get trapped in the rain water on top.
I found mature (black) BSF grubs 3 climbing the wall of my house but even more impressively, I found 3 in the fish tank!! My tank is only 4 feet away from the BSF bin but it is a full IBC 275 Gal/1000 Liter tank the top of which stands over 4 feet high! What the heck are they doing in there?
These little guys are crazy!
