I got some 4mm sinking pellets from Woodvale for my yabbies. The fish seem to really like them as well. |

I have 13 biggies and there is never any left in the mornings. |

Marron are benthic omnivores which means they will eat almost any living or decaying plant or animal material. Potato, carrot, peas, corn, lupins, snails are all good cheap options.... BUT, you would need a commercial feed if you are trying to run an AP system off marron alone because otherwise your plants will suffer. |

Best food for crustaceans like yabbies and marron is whole dried legumes like lupins, faba beans, peas etc. Just throw in and they will sink to the bottom. The seeds become soft and they are then eaten. Yabbies especially needs lots of protein because they grow quick. |
