I just bought my first bag of AquaMax 400 and it seems very oily. If you stand it up on end it's slowly leaking oil out the bottom, it doesn't look moldy or anything though.

The main reason I ask is because the date printed on the bag is late January and I don't know if it's normal or if it's oily like that because it's getting old.

The food I use is on the oily side as well (I believe it's AM 400 but can't be sure since I don't have the bag). You can see oil spread away from the food when you drop it in the water. Seems to work OK.

Yep, it's high protein. It sounds like it's normal, just wanted to be sure.

Thanks keith and scotty.
