Hi,

I'm putting in an order from Skretting over the next week or so. Five bags + is the most cost effective for postage.

20kg bags -

3mm @ $56
5mm @ $51
7mm @ $52

These prices include tax and shipping for five bags. If more bags are required, the price may go down slightly. I'm keen to order just two bags, so if anyone else wants to get in on the order, that would be great.

I will pick these up from Port Melbourne and can drop them off if it is vaguely in the same direction as Collingwood, else welcome to pick them up.

PM me if you're interested.

Thanks,
Paul.

I'm surprised there are no takers.. Can you find this feed locally for a decent price? Is Skretting Spectra not a good feed?

Any idea how long this feed would last in storage?

Thanks!

I'm surprized too,
I've bagged and frozen food for 12 months and it looks like the day it went in .
I buy 3 bags at a time, delivered to my door, run the freezer for less than what i saved on frieght alone, and the convenience of having feed on hand .All feed other than some crumble and starter is used within 12months. This way feed cost me about $3:00 kg.
5 bags is a fair bit of tucker.
May-be buy a bag of what you would use most of and crush it yourself to start. Trout are boofheads and would scoff 3mm all day and perch would be happy enough with it.

Aussie Post do a 20kg post-pack for $20

Just bumping this thread as I have quite a bit of excess feed if anyone wants it. Would be happy to part with 10kg of 3mm, 5mm and 7mm each. Same price as what I bought it as. Else, I will start freezing some for next year.

I will do the same .. it would surely last a few years in the freezer.

Got two bags of skrettings last year and just dumped them in the bottom of a chest freezer in the shed. Tops are open and I just dipper out a container full when needed.

I have a chest freezer with a draw underneath - will that be fine - semi freezes bread and beer if in there for long enough.
