Hi I have just recently joined the aquaponics trend. I have purchased silver perch hatchlings and 3mm pellets, but the pellets are too big for the hatchlings. I have been crushing them but is there any other food other that maggots that I can feed them until they are a bit bigger in size. ( the thought of eating something that has been eating maggots really turns me off). Any help would be appreciated.

Depends how small the fish are, we have 2mm feed. The silver perch will also nibble at algae and some plant roots and leaves if you have a floating warercress or similar.

If they are really small I have a bit of crumble here in the freezer you can have. Should be enough to get them through to the 3mm pellets.
PM me if your interested

Welcome BTW :wave1:

I bought some 1mm pellets from a aquarium store, same brand as I got from BYAP and feed these until they migrate to lager pellets.
