Hi there. I am new to aquaponics and am currently setting up my system. I live on the Caribbean Island of Margarita and Black Soldier Fly are not found here. Is there an alternative and if so how do I attract them? I am guessing that I can still use the compost type larvae grower but, and this may seem like a stupid question, do I need to do anything other than put food scraps in a tub and wait?

Thanks in advance
