I've almost finished my 10kgs, got about 1-2 weeks left.
Is there anyone in Adelaide who either has way too much feed and they want to get rid of some, or anyone wanting to share in a bag of floating trout/barra pellets?
I'm happy to get another bag from the West Beach barra hatchery but please note they only have small (about 2mm) pellets. My fish dont seem to mind though.

BUMP

I've got less than a week left.
I'd rather buy my pellets in bulk because it is so much cheaper, so unless I hear anything in the next couple of days I'm going to have to buy another 20kg bag from WBA. But I would really like to sell off 5-10 kgs so that I dont have an open bag going stale for months. Please let me know if you are interested in any.

You can always vacumm pack feed... and store in the fridge/freezer...

Otherwise store in a cool, dry place... preferabally in a sealed container...

Yep, I don't buy in that amount yet, but I usually buy more than I need in a month, so the rest goes straight in the deep freeze.

Picked up a bag of 4mm floating pellets yesterday + a large airtight drum. I'm still happy to sell off a few kilos at cost price ($3/kg pickup) if anyone wants some.

What do you get that's so good it has to come from Perth, and how much does it cost?

KE

Thanks for the 6kg barra food - fish hit them like freight trains and they float well :)

Also, thanks for the cuppa and the walk around your system today - I will get some netpots and a Blue Barrel to you soon :D

OK I've very nearly run out of food again. I'm a little reluctant to buy a full bag of pellets as it's getting near the end of the season. Has anyone either:

got too many pellets left after eating most of their trout and want to off load a few kilo before they go stale

OR

want to share in a 20kg bag of barra pellets from West Beach Hatchery?

I'll need to know ASAP because I've got less than a weeks supply left
Regards
Erik XIV

That would be great, but I would need to get the larger (4mm) pellets again. If you buy fingerlings you might need to get the smaller (1-2mm) pellets??? Or are you geting larger fingerlings?

I'll try to make my food last until Friday. I've got the day off, perhaps I can meet you at Big Daddy's house? Doesn't he live somewhere near here?
