I need a reliable company to buy fish food from. I am based in Melton, Victoria.
I have contacted a number of companies, but their customer service leaves a lot to be desired, as their sales people are not interested the little man.

Can any one help?????????????

Thanks,
Ian

Skrettings are the people to get quality food economically from but you have to place a reasonably sized order.

I need some food so if we can find a couple of others we can place a combined order and get some.

We are not too far from each other so divvying up the order shouldn't be hard.

I haven't been happy with the quality. The bag I have came from the Hay Market and it appears to be rather old and have gotten wet at some point.

The gents at the Ballarat Hatchery are now ordering their own food rather than use the Hay Market stuff and they say they have noticed a significant jump in the rate of growth.

Haymarket doesnt stock the lauke feed anymore because the trout farm sources their feed elsewhere. Got my last bag of 4mm floating (which all the fish are loving) from http://bignutrition.com.au/

I'd go for bignutrition - they got me 20kg of excellent food delivered from Qld to Bendigo for about $82. Ring on the mobile though - their web response is woeful - buggers must be out with the fish all the time or something. :D

Thanks everyone for all your suggestions.
Big Nutrition are the only ones that have finally got back to me.
Skrettings said it will be 2-3 weeks before they could get food to Port Melbourne, but my fish can't wait that long! Contact via email and phone gave me the impression that it was all too hard for them!
I have been using pellets from the Ballarat Hatchery, (Ridleys?), but the veges don't taste as good as veges from a skretting system!
decisions decisions!
