Hello

This is my first time doing aquponics and I want to gather all the information I can before I start.

I was wondering if anyone knows of a type of plant i could plant that could be a natural source of food for fish. You never know what is in fish food these days and I am looking for the most organic way of raising fish as well as vegetation.

Welcome Lankuboy! If you do a search function for fish food, you will see an ongoing discussing about fish food. The important thing to remember is that fish feed is your main input into your system, therefore if it comes from within your system, it is at the expense of output. Duckweed has a place, as a supplement however. Also black soldier fly larvae can help supplement your feed too, but a high quality aquaculture feed is still important for both your fish and your plants.
