Okay has anyone tried these two?

My yellow perch are on Aquamax 200 right now which is 50% protein and I am in need of food pretty quickly. Aquamax 200 is a sinking pellet 1/32nd in size and my Yellow perch love it.

Well I want to jump to a larger size and aquamax 400 is 45% protein 16% fat but floating.

My other option is Zeigler Finfish Silver 1/8 inch pellets. Similar size but I can purchase a sinking option. This one is also 40% protein and 10% fat.

So will my yellow perch get used to surface feeding or should I keep them on sinking pellets? Also does anyone have any experience with both of these feeds? Because they slightly vary in protein percentage.

Never done zeigler but my aquamax 400 is float/sink. It's not compressed very tightly and some pellets sink and some float. Logic tells me it's intended as the next step to help teach small fish to eat floating pellets.
