Anecdotally A friend from Hong Kong advised me of the need to thoroughly cook fish from that locality also, I don't have the exact details but the risk involved potential for parasite infection requiring surgical countermeasures, while I use to think eating raw fish was all cool and fandango, I am much more careful now.... although nowhere near as trendy...
