Just thought I'd pass on a news article for you guys living in the USA, particularly down south. There is a Aquaculture conference in Missouri on the 12-13th January and the keynote focus is apparently to be on obtaining faster growth from bluegill. Whoops  - you got me. I was thinking of Mississippi (Jeez I hope I spelt that right).Central would be a much better description ! Was thinking more along the lines that you guys may be interested in trying to get your hands on a copy of the paper(s) presented. |

I'm not too far from Jeff City. I would have had no idea about this had Chilli not posted it (THANKS!). It's a little short notice, but I'll see if I can make the trip. |

BG will probably be the majority of the fish in my system. I can go to the local pond and pick up dozens for free, so it would be nice to know the secrets to making them grow! Mark |
