I though it was a good idea too Aquagold :)

Silver Perch.

The optimum temperature range for commercial production is 23-28° C.
Min Temp ~2 Deg c, Max Temp very low 30's.
Silver perch can be raised to market size of 600-800g in around 8 months.

Rainbow Trout.
Optimal temperature for rainbow trout is 12°C
Rainbow trout will be found between 6°C (44°F) and 23°C (75°F).

Barramundi.

Best temperature range between 25-27oC.
Still feed from 20 deg c up. (VB)

Murray Cod.

Specimens regularly reach ages of 30-35 years.

I will add more and update this post as I find more :)

Anyone got any more?

Some of the temp ranges often quoted are pretty silly IMHO. I realise they are 'optimal', but one should be a bit more realistic I reckon. In my experience, Barra feed ferociously at 22 or even 20 degrees.

Yep... you need to remember... most of that info relates to pond based aquaculture systems.... not necessarily recirc tanks and definitely not AP....

Also based on data almost exclusively from Qld and Northern NSW....

18 months to grow a Silver Perch to 600 - 800 gms..... depends where you are, how you grow, heating etc...

Again pond base data.... may apply to some AP people who have looow overnite winter temps...
