I got mine from Warton rd aquaponics, they sold me 5 for $11 but three were Silvers after I had a good look. I went back and got two more larger Barra for $10 and the guy offered to swap the silvers, I think they were between 100/150mm at the time, their longer fatter and bigger now. I had to by a bigger indoor net, and started using my old boat net for the IBC. They were vary careful handling the fish. The guy on a Sunday a few weeks before actually spent half an hour with me sexing five yabbies I brought. But Woodvale has more choice in sizes. And a larger variety of fish.

It took that long to find three females, and just the two males out of a 2000ltr tank that had more than one hundred in it. The two males were easy to find. Plus there was a mixture of blue and brown crayfish. Their easy to sex but hard to catch exactly what the customer wants. I was thinking little yabbies in the future. To many males will spend more time fighting. I was thinking of playing Barry White music to set the mood?
