Yea, my water is certainly cool enough to put trout in now, but I have ~100 Murray Cod in the FT... and it will be some time before the new big system is built- so I'd better ration the remaining frozen trout to last me a while longer!

Depends on when will your temps reliably stay low enough, when will a hatchery have them for sale and when you want them.

I put some more in a few weeks ago but that is not particularly special since I've still got trout from last year.

Where you guys often have the problem of it being too hot I have the problem that my growing system is so short. I've got tomatoes coming off the vines but so many of the wines have fruit that hasn't even started to colour yet.

If we could just average our climates out we would all be happy all the time.

Be a bit boring tho wouldn't it bernhard. My trout would probably still be there too, I need deadlines. No pun intended, although it is a great one. Yeah I'm pretty happy with that.

My thermometer fell to the bottom of the tank, so I don't know water temp, but my silvers are still smashing the food, so sydney is probably not cool enough yet.

Very busy. Now I drive 1hr+ each way to work. Also I moved and left the old AP system there. Have nearly finished the new one. Will post pics when I finish, but still won't have much time to be on forum.

i had the same question coming into last summer, and a few shacking heads re temperature:)
i ended up going to the snowys and pick them up myself. 1000km and a hot summer later i still have them kicking along.
its not so hard to transport live fish, i will be down there again in a few weeks time for a bigger batch to stock my sydney system.

what size, numbers, stage and species are you looking for?

ben
