Worked well. It uses airlift which has the added advantage of not only tumbling the eggs but also aerating them. What is critical however is the shape of the container. Any sharp edges are sure to accumulate "untumbled" eggs which soon die and cause fungus problems. Eggs have to be sterlized with methylene blue and the whole incubator including hoses, airstones etc also has to be very well sterilized.

Any chance you could share some pictures of the tumbler Synaptoman? I'm very curious to see what you are working with. My tumblers/hatching jars are quite similar to McDonald hatching jars. I actually have one McDonald jar too, but I only use it when I'm hatching LOTS of eggs because it performs very poorly with small quantities.
