I'm possibly moving to QLD, what are my options for moving some 30cm+ koi over from WA?
if it's not possible, then i guess i have some koi for sale

Not sure about quarantine issues, but I guess you would have to transport by air overnight.

can you get air systems to help keep them alive? I know i'd have to purge them 24 hours before hand and all that.
beyond that how would you do it?

I'd be lazy and sell them :D but if I really wanted to move them I'd be checking with the fisheries dept first.
If that was fine and depending how many you have I'd be using a white foam esky with an aerator attached to the side and the lid taped on tight and a few sml holes in the top.
You would have to check with your airline first though to make sure its ok.

Just one minor problem, might cost you up to $200,000.

Koi are definately illegal here in QLD (and certainly VIC, and perhaps NSW and SA too?).

Don't bet on it.... I have to get a quarantine ticket just to allow a container of BYAP gear to leave WA....
