Hey many of you know that i'm from Germany.
And i can buy ameiurus nebulosus fingerlings for much money.
I like the brown one of the catfish, but wasn't able to spent so much money each year.

Do you know if i can easily breed them in some of my aquarium, or keep them in 9m³ pond?

Let me know what do you think, or know. :notworthy:

You might be in a minority there Dom, I don't know anything about them, had a quick look online and saw a picture, nice looking catfish...

Would be good to hear a little more about them if you find out anything.

Have you thought about the wells catfish, they came up in topic not long ago.

Hey earthbound,
thanks for your reply.
I know that the bullhead is a pest in many countries.
In France many anglers hate them, because they wanna catch other fish, and often has a bullhead at the hook.

I've keep one at small boy in our pond, and every month i'm feeding frozen bloodworm.
And once the water was cloudy and i'm putting the frozen bloodworm with my hand under the water surface, and was waiting for goldfish/koi...
Then i see the wide big mouth and was so frighten, that i lost the frozen bloodworm, which disappears in his big mouth.

My dad decided to take them to our local sea, at this moment i was 9 year and don't know what a prob they can be for the other species.

The person from which i order the fish, lives far away from me, and means that he breed them, but don't want to tell me anything about this.
So i don't know how.. in aquarium, in pond, with changing waterlevels / temp, etc.
When nobody can help, i've to make a looooong experimental stage...

Hey i've bought 20 cats with 15g each and 10 small ones with 5g so i've 350g of cats.
I feed 20g each day, but i'm unable to feed them more than once a day.
After adding food they eat quickly but they don't eat all at one moment.

Next day all food was eaten.
I don't know how much i could/should feed them, when i don't see them when the has eaten all food.
The amount of food is since same weeks still the same.

I hope you understand my bad grammar.
