We have been hearing how its proving difficult to get some fish in the east due to the floods and cyclones, well its looking like this year there will be a BIG shortage of Trout in WA. The states only private hatchery has lost most of their fish and as a result will have no fingerlings to sell this year. This means there will be an enormous demand for whatever is out there from farm dam stockers, fingerling on sellers, fish farmers as well as aquaponics enthusiasts. Unfortunately I think many people are going to miss out on having Trout this year by the looks of it. |

Yeah I will be selling what I have but given the circumstances I dont think they will last to long and once there gone that will be it as I wont be able to obtain any more. |

I was planning on putting 100 trout in my tank as the timing should have been perfect: system would have been complete and well cycled. What is an alternative fish I could stock with or can I put my order in now? |
