Here is a video of some small koi I recently harvested from a pond. Average 4 inches in length.

Nice whack of Koi there JD, you grow them to sell to the aquarium industry?

Hey, you wanna try eating some and tell me how they taste... :D

Thanks EB. These are used as forage to feed largemouth bass. I only produce about a thousand pounds a year of the small koi, not really enough to wholesale. Never was very interested in selling :fish: one at a time. Most mass market aquarium koi are grown in Arkansas.

I understand carp (koi) make good salmon croquettes. Never tried any myself. I'd be willing to try some koi for you. What's it worth?

More meat on these... (one catfish in there too).

Excellent, now there's some koi... We really do need to find a system at the shop to put some into.

"Only" half a ton a year? :notworthy:

That would be cool. To me they look best in a dark colored tank.
