I picked up 40 SP from Carey Nagle in Gidge last Saturday. Stocks were getting low but he still had some.

Give him a call.

Thanks Mike , do you know a number there at all?

Cheers Ivan , 15 bucks a head is a bit steep though or is that the going price for advanced Barra ?

Hi prawnz,

Will pm u the number. Dunno about price for advanced barra but 15 is prolly spot on, I got 40 SP from Carey, 30 fingerlings at $2 each(about 6-8cm) and a mix of sizes for the other 10. Largest was 30cm@ $15 which isn't much when u average it all out. Our SP ended up averaging $4 each.

SP will coexist happily with other sized fish.

Mike

Prawnz, I think that is about the going price. BYAP got some a few weeks back and they seem healthy...

Just bear in mind that these ones are good enough for the plate already... and they are certainly much more healthy than the GP ones... All you need a few to die from a unhealthy batch of fish and you will be paying close to $15 (or more) per fish anyways.
