i'm always looking for more info on fish, anyways, in a pond forum, i came across a "relative weight" dealio. you can calculate how healthy your fish are from this, i know some of these species won't apply to but i'm sure you can find the info for just about any fish...so here goes; this one is for bluegill, black and white crappie, yellow perch, pickerel and sunfish and walleye http://www.fish.state.pa.us/images/pages/fishin1/weightlength1.pdf this one is muskie, pike, trout (brown, brook and rainbow) rock bass and shad http://www.fish.state.pa.us/images/pages/fishin1/weightlength2.pdf the last one i have is for largemouth bass, small mouth bass, striped bass channel cat and bullhead; http://www.fish.state.pa.us/images/pages/fishin1/weightlength3.pdf to calc your fish's relative weight, (with these charts anyways), divide your fish's weight by 100% of the "relative weight" |

Great charts, thanks Keith. It will be interesting to see what I get once I get another system running. |
