I have a few extra tilapia if anyone needs them. I need to get my stock back down to 600 or so.

Hey DanD, I would love to take some Tilapia off your hands. I'm in New Orleans, and I've mapquested driving to you in Tyler. It's about a 7 hour trip :/ SO, FedEX? hahah. Have you ever mailed live fish? I expect it's not as simple as it sounds. I'll investigate some more if you're new to it as well. It would be great to keep it touch about aquaponics because of our closeness of location. I'm about to piece everything together and get my first system up and running. I just posted my specs in member systems, check it out, let me know what you think being that we live in similar conditions.

I've tried to get Tilapia on my own through corporations that sell them, but they told me I need permits to buy and breed them. Instead, I've chosen koi. Any experience with koi fish?

Stute
