| Post subject: | Coy and Trout |
Hi All, I was thinking of using coy to start off my first system, with the idea that later on I could use them as the base stock to get me through summer, and add trout in winter. Does anyone have experience with this, and how have they gone? I saw one guy on here (KudaPucat) had issues with the trout attacking the coy, but that was when small coy were added to a tank of trout, I wonder if the same would have happened with large coy? Do large coy attack/eat trout fingerlings? I suppose one option would be to put the coy in the sump when I get trout. Barks |

Small trout were added to a tank of koi. The trout grew faster. |

Trout can harrass the Koi to death if they are hungry / crowded. I have two Goldfish in each tank with the Trout, and they have been fine. Other peoples have not. |
