Taking them from where?

I had some that I got from Ausyfish that were already weaned onto pellets. Unfortunately I got them late and they didn't build up enough to get through the winter last year.

Himzo.

Wild caught Golden Perch very rarely take a pellet feed...

Even those that are "weaned" to pellet feed in the hatcheries... often result in 20%+ going off the pellet... and dying...

Trout probably would Kuda... as they are usually a surface feeding fish that's stimulated by the food source striking the surface of the water...

Cod, on the other hand ... are an ambush fish, usually feeding deep in the water column... and on a live feed... a sinking pellet just doesn't stimulate a response in them...

Or if you wanted to get KEEN you could grow the food they usually eat. If it's yabbies and worms and stuff, breed yabbies and worms and stuff.
