As above, can anyone help with suppliers, phone numbers, availability and costs of fish?

Challenger TAFE Freo $15-00 per kilo
Golden Ponds will have them when it warms up a little in a range of sizes for $15-00kg

Yep Tony (username tonyabalone) at Freo TAFE but I think the current price is $20 kg. Also hear they are disappearing fast.

Unless they're not intending to sell the ones already there.

They're not fingerlings - these things are nearly plate size already.

Tony said the restaurants are hungry for them so I think most are destined for the plate.

i went to golden ponds on friday, i grabbed a bunch of fingerlings at $3 each. if you buy bulk and give them time to prepare i believe you may be able to get them cheaper. there were only 2 sizes available tho. fingerlings and plate size.

I picked up 50 fingerlings from Golden Ponds yesterday at $3 each
There is a large range in size with mine as some are about 30mm long up to 125mm long but on average 50 - 60mm
I have spoken with Tony from Freo Tafe and Golden Ponds have bought most of their fingerlings. They only have 250 - 300 gram fish left that would be roughly $5 each. They are hopefull of another fingerling run but these fish would not be available untill January.
Unless anyone knows any other suppliers GP sounds like it for fingerlings this year.

I think 10 years ago, you have not "infected" so many people with the "bug" so there is more supply than demand back then... Sounds like in Nov/Dec, there will be more demand than supply.
