Guy's, I am afraid that none of the suppliers that I know of (Gidgi and Arcadia) have any Silver Perch left until the next spawning around December :(

I did ask both farms to hold 500 to 1000 for this October, but it has not happened.

Any other suppliers that have overwintered fish?

Yep, but you'll have to go to Geraldton to get them.

I know a few people up that way that have bought good sized fingerlings and advanced fish for systems.

I must have been lucky, I got 20 just over 2 weeks ago from gidgi.

He only has 500 left, and they are mine.

They are not as big as I wanted, but if I dont take these, there is no more for a while, except for geraldton.

That's a bit of a bummer. I got the 20 to kick start the pool and wanted to get a few more once I had cleared the algae bloom.

My water temps are sitting at around 8, so even if I find some SP this early, I stick them in for another couple of months.

Thats no good. I hope with all the new people (myself included) starting aquaponics that fish wont be too hard to get.
How soon should one in perth be trying to get some barramundi? or put in an order.
