I have noticed a change in colour of my SP.

They were quite dark, but have recently noticed that they are getting lighter and have a banding/lines of some sort.

I generally associate this banding of flash colouring when fish are in distress on the end of a fish hook.

No fish hooks in the system, eating regularly, etc etc.

Could it be the change in water temp?

Will try and resize a photo for viewing.

Cheers

Lucky

Thats what all of mine looked like until I transferred them into the tank thats painted black , now theyre really dark .

Both systems water parameters are pretty much the same too

In my experience, the lighter the tank, the darker the fish. Also bigger fish tend to be darker

Yup, they change colour over time to suit their surroundings.
