what specie of fish might cohabitate with my koi?

i have 2 medium sized koi in 1000 gallon poly tank at present.

I'd imagine catfish would do fine as well.

Even trout dont bother the goldfish much in my tanks.

thanks guys, one day i hope to maybe get into tilapia (if i can keep them warm) that is. greenhouse is not going to be easy here as i dont have enough sunny location unless i remove a bunch of oak trees and/or my main pond.

for now ill probably just add a few koi or goldfish if i do need them. i found a very local fish supplier in branford florida. his name is dave whalen but he only has game type fish and catfish

but im also leaning toward catfish later as i progress and learn about their propagation and needs. all still need the taste test as im not a FW fish consumer yet

but 23 degress here in florida tonight :shock: . guys i aching for warm weather so i can grow something :D
