I'm getting ready to eat my pets (SPs). I know about purging, but is there advice on slaughtering (terrible word!), cleaning and filleting?

Be as gently as you can :roll:
to avoid brusing :lol:

Some ppl use an 'iki', a piece of metal (like a phillips head screw driver +)
to kill,(puncture just behind the eye to sever the spinal cord/mash brain and then 'fillet' or 'butterfly' in the normal way.

If you get it right and I suggest you do, it is very quick and IMHO
most humane way to get your dinner ready :wink:
