I'm thinking about adding some redclaw to my sump, to help remove the solid waste that's building up. The pump also resides in the sump - will this be a problem?

Anyway, hopefully they're suitable, and if so, where can I get them around Brisbane? I used to catch heaps as a teenager around Landsborough, and could probably catch some again, but I'm worried about introducing disease into the system. any ideas?

they have red claws for about $1...

and they are selling silvers for 60c..
