I plan on creating a funnel shaped bottom in my new tanks, to purposely collect the sollids. they contain a lot of the trace elements some of us miss in our systems. |

Can you explain a bit more the poop gets choped up with the pump and spread on the beds so where is or better still what are we missing out on |

They get broken up via the water movement in the tanks. Goldfish tend to swallow and spit lol |
