Hello All!

New here and first post, but I've found information on this forum multiple times and decided to make a user! thanks for all the info from the past! very informative!

Although heres something Ive always wondered... I live in Illinois and we have pretty regulated species here..Called DNR and they want nothing to do with redclaw. the only way to posses red claw in the state is "dead"

Im wondering what states legally allow (live) Australian red claw in (Aquaculture, Hatchery, and shipping/food purposes)

Maybe theres a list out there? doubt it lol but instead of asking every states DNR.. im sure someone out there has an idea!

(links and proof would be appreciated my myself and everyone if available)

Thanks:)

Even some of the ones that do legally allow them might frown on certain practices, here's a story that hit the newspapers a while back - http://articles.latimes.com/2009/jul/02/nation/na-desert-lobster2

scotty, i actually read that this morning before my original post..

i personally think with proper permits we should be allowed to grow and sell as long as the site is approved. sad.

I do see the importance of regulation though as well. Red Claw love to escape!!

Thanks for the reply

I can't give you a list of states that do allow Red Claw, but here's a link to a site that sells them and it tells what states they can't ship to. Wish my home wasn't on it...
