Does anyone know the ratio of ammion removed by solid waste? I've read one that stated 15% and one that said 55%. anyone know?

From memory, reading about it a few months ago, the source of Nitrogen wastes from fish is 10-20% in the solids, the other 80-90% from the gills

This lecture from York U in Canada seems to agree...

Nitrogen Excretion in Fish
Quote:
