I have 2 ibcs outside and a hospital tank inside my garage about 10m away.

What is the best method to move fish between tanks?

Can I simply net the fish out of the IBC and walk them into the garage and release or should I net them out of the IBC put them in a barrel(60L - half filled) then carry the barrel full of water into the garage and pour the barrel out into the hospital tank?

I've carried 300-400g fish over 50m in a net with no problems, so 10m wont be a problem. Make sure the net doesn't have holes that could catch and damage fins etc.

Just dont trip over! ;)
